I realized that I have quite a few old watches stowed away in drawers and needed a way to display them. This was the inspiration for a DIY watch stand. The design is unique in that it can be orientated in two different ways to fit a variety of dresser tops.

The base piece has a single slot on one side and four slots on the other. The watch holders slide into the slots. The slots are cut at a 30° angle so that the watch holders tip back at a pleasing angle for viewing.
The watch stand could be CNC milled from a wide variety of materials such as acrylic, aluminum, high density cork or rubber.
